A bit of background…

Stoneham Golf Club have built a new high tech driving range that required a fast and responsive internet connection, which they didn’t previously have.

In addition to this, their clubhouse network wasn’t performing how they wanted it to so they requested an entire site solution.

The solution

Yappl implemented the following solutions:

  • We installed a new high speed fibre connection into a central point and distributed out via fibre to the new range, the club house and the pro shop so the connection could be shared throughout.
  • The driving range has had additional hardware, so in the unlikely event it’s fibre link fails, it has a fast back-up in the shape of a 4G outdoor antenna and connection.
  • Entire site has had full Wi-Fi coverage installed both indoors and out, offering both a corporate network for the staff and a guest network for the club members.
